Willow Cottage is a lovely holiday hideaway situated within the village of High Newton. The property has recently been extensively refurbished to create a high standard of accommodation for up to 4 guests over 2 bedrooms. The cottage grounds have a large grass garden and private parking for up to 2 vehicles. Just a short walk from the property you will find a superb secluded beach located behind the sand dunes where you can sit back and relax taking in the outstanding views along the coast to Dunstanburgh Castle.
There's good food and a choice selection of ales on offer nearby at The Joiners Arms, just a couple of minutes away from the property. There's also The Ship Inn at Low Newton, a little further away and well worth a visit with its own micro brewery. The ales gained the approval of Prince Charles when he visited the area in July 2012. The village of Newton makes a great base for exploring this part of Northumberland. Nearby is the fishing village of Craster, the seaside village of Alnmouth and the picturesque village of Warkworth with its impressive castle.
An open plan kitchen/living room and dining area is on the ground floor along with a large master bedroom furnished with a king size bed, built in mirror wardrobes,an en-suite shower room including WC and hand basin. There's also a separate bathroom with a shower over bath, WC and wash basin.
There's a light and airy twin bedroom with impressionable views of the Northumberland countryside.
