Puffin Place is a great little holiday hideaway within the historic conservation area of Seahouses. It's location is right in the heart of the former fish smokeries and traditional fishing cottages. Puffin Place was formerly part of the old smokery but has been tastefully converted and modernised into a comfortable and well equipped holiday home. The cottage is in a peaceful location but just a minute's walk from the busy harbour, with fantastic views all the way up the coast. This holiday home from home has a warm and inviting feel and is perfectly suited for both small families and couples.
Guests can take daily boat trips available to The Farne Islands full of seals and seabirds and explore the surrounding area filled with wildlife. The property is located within easy walking distance of the village amenities where there's a good choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are also beautiful sandy beaches to the north and south with the Northumbrian Coast Path passing the end of the road just 70 yards away. Lots of places of interest are just a short journey away with Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island a short run up the coast and the historic market town of Alnwick complete with Castle and Gardens a 20 minute drive inland.
The ground floor has a modern, open plan kitchen and living room area with a fold out dining table perfect for meal times.
On the first floor guests have use of a double bedroom with built in wardrobe, a twin bedroom with a wardrobe and TV with DVD plus a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and hand basin.
