Grey Heron Lodge is a newly constructed log cabin designed to be attractive, cosy and fitted with all the comforts to make your stay a relaxing one. Located steps from the sandy, grassy dunes of Budle Bay, there’s a privately owned beach right on your doorstep for everyone to indulge in. Take advantage of this area and the peace and quiet, enjoy the views across Budle Bay all the way to Holy Island Castle and the ever changing sunrise and sunset around you, every day.
Bamburgh Village is just over a mile away so you’re never far from spending time with the locals, exploring the food and drink on offer or even rambling on nature walks keeping an eye out for the wildlife.
A spacious ground floor consists of an open plan kitchen, living room and dining area with access to an outdoor patio space and a seating area. There’s also a large double bedroom with TV, wardrobe and drawers, a spacious twin bedroom with the same furnishings and another double bedroom. A bathroom with shower over bath, WC and wash basin is also available alongside a shower room with a WC and wash basin.
Grey Heron Lodge can be booked with other Heather Cottages to create accommodation for up to 34 guests.
Dogs are welcome at our cottage. A charge of £25 for each dog or £40 for a two week stay and we can accommodate 2 medium dogs or 1 large dog.
