Reviews

A lovely cottage in a lovely location. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed this cosy cottage very much once we had mastered the log burner and storage heating. Despite it being January, we had some beautiful walks on the coast. We loved the area and our meal at The Potted Lobster, just a couple of miles away, was excellent. You do need to book.

Mrs B,

Immaculate cottage and very comfortable beds, couldn’t be faulted. However parking potentially a bit tight as several cottages together all with designated spaces but careless parking could be a difficulty.

Mrs Hilary V,

Eider Cottage was a perfect location for us. The quality of the cottage was much appreciated as well as its cleanliness. We felt welcomed by personal touches, information available and much of that had to do with the communications between the owner, Original Cotttages personnel and myself the client. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage and the company for superb holiday accommodation.

Mrs Doreen U,

We were very satisfied with everything.

Mrs Susan C,

Unfortunately the property was very cold on arrival and remained so for a couple of days. Thankfully we were experienced in using a log burner. But worse than this by far was the fact that on arrival we had NO hot water until the next morning. We nearly left there and then - thank goodness you left a bottle of wine with which we drowned our sorrows!

Mrs June S,

Comfortable, well equipped, restored cottage in a very quiet, picturesque hamlet. The information pack is extensive but rather jumbled with some out of date information and duplications. The phone signal is non existent in the cottage but the Wi-fi is good. Our query to the owners was responded to promptly and pleasantly. Would recommend.

Mrs Caroline I,

excellent accommodation, very comfortable and warm. In an ideal location to explore the area, certainly deserves a return visit, one week`s stay was too short!
