Eider Cottage is a charming coastal terraced property located within the town of Amble, often referred to as ‘The Friendliest Port’. This three bedroom property sleeps up to five people, perfect for small families or friends looking to experience a real taste of the Northumberland Coast. The cottage is only a very short walk from the harbour and beach and close to the centre of Amble where you'll find a host of attractions to enhance your stay. There's a wide selection of shops, restaurants and pubs for you to spend the afternoon or evening in.
The harbour hosts weekly markets on a Wednesday and Sunday as well as daily (seasonal) boat trips to nearby Coquet Island. The Tourist Information Centre is open during summer months for advise and details on various activities available around local the area. For those with a sweet tooth you must visit Spurreli's Ice Cream shop and try the exotic flavours on offer. Away from Amble there are many places of interest close by, the historic Warkworth Castle, the sandy beach of Druridge Bay, Alnwick Castle and Gardens to name but a few.
On the ground floor is a spacious and comfortable living room with a large TV, a kitchen and dining table and there's access to an enclosed back yard.
The first floor has a double bedroom with wardrobe and storage drawers, a bunk Bed room and a single bedroom. There's also a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath.
