Cranage is a comfortable Swiss style semi-detached cottage situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just a short walk from the centre of the delightful coastal village of Embleton. The village has a recently refurbished convenient store, post office, garage and two public houses, one which offers locally produced foods and ales. The property provides spacious, bright and comfortable accommodation inside and out with large enclosed gardens to the front and rear of the property, suitable for children to play within safely. Kids can help Harry the Hedgehog find his friends in this suitable game for all the children to play, compliments of the owner. If the garden is not enough, Embleton sports an excellent play park with suitable activities for all ages including a zip-line.

 

Dunstanburgh Links Golf Course and the golden sands of Embleton Bay are within 20 minutes' walk - perfect for children and a great base for a family holiday and golfing groups. Close by is the fishing village of Craster, home of the world famous Craster Kipper (3 miles) and Dunstanburgh Castle. You can take the walk from Embleton Bay along the pathway through the dunes to Dunstanburgh Castle which was recently voted by The National Trust as one of Britains top ten walks.

 

The historic market town of Alnwick, with Gardens, Tree House and Castle made famous by Harry Potter, are just a 7 mile drive away. Seahouses and Bamburgh Castle are within a 10 mile drive with access to the Farne Islands and the north east heroine Grace Darlings, museum and story. The home of St Cuthbert, Lindisfarne Castle and Holy Island Priory are a 15 mile drive north but always check the causeway crossing times.

The property has a comfortable lounge with family games provided for hours of entertainment. There's a modern recently refurbished kitchen and a separate dining room for 6 guests. A shower room with WC and wash basin is available as is a bunk bed room with TV/DVD, en-suite shower room, WC and wash basin. Guests have access to the garden with a decking and seating area and gas barbecue.
