Description

Cosy Cottage is situated in the quieter area of Seahouses. Placed within a few minutes walk of the harbour and village centre, the action is close, but it guarantees a peaceful feeling in the cottage. A lovely little patio planted with pretty flowers in the back garden is ideal for sitting in the sun whilst dining or socialising.

Ground Floor

Newly refurbished Kitchen and dining area, complete with table and chairs for 6 people, washing machine, fridge, electric oven, induction hob and microwave. A lounge with comfy leather seating has television with freeview, DVD/CD player and decorative eelectric fire. The rear door leads to the patio garden that includes tables and chairs for those sunny days.

First Floor

A total of 3 bedrooms, consisting of 1 king size, 1 double and 1 single are all furnished with drawers and storage cupboards. The cottage benefits from a newly fitted bathroom, with a shower over the bath.

Excellent location close to pubs, shops and restaurants. When we arrived the kitchen was flooded from the washing machine. We turned off the water and tightened the fittings. After that, it worked fine. The shower wasn't usable, either scalding hot or cold but we just used the bath. The house is well kitted out and the complimentary tea and biscuits was welcomed. Overall, I'd describe it as an excellent property in an even better location, we would definitely use it again but you might want to check on the shower and washing machine ahead of other visitors.
