The Cider Press hides in the grounds of the majestic Ellingham Hall where old world charm meets new world living in these luxury self-catering cottages. The Hall dates back to 1703 and the matured grounds within the estate include wonderful gardens, a croquet lawn and woodlands to explore to your hearts content. The cottage is set within easy reach of some fantastic activities to accompany any stay, with Alnwick and Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and the beautiful Northumberland coastline all just a short drive away. Guests can take advantage of local sights and after a long day of exploring the area or relaxing on the grounds, you can always indulge in the local pub where good food to be found along with fine crafted ale.
The spacious, well equipped kitchen/dining room has an Aga range and direct access to the garden. An attractive sun lounge has impressive views across the gardens and beyond. A double bedroom with ornate bedstead, dresser, wardrobe and storage drawers is on the ground floor alongside a bathroom with WC and hand basin.
On the first floor there is a light and open lounge area decorated in subtle muted tones and furnished with comfortable seating. An airy double bedroom with en-suite shower room, WC, hand basin alongside a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom including a shower cubicle, WC and hand basin is also available. All of the 3 bedrooms are dressed in crisp, white linens.
